\u00a0 LOS REYES, MICH.-<\/strong> Con un pleno reconocimiento a su papel en la sociedad, a los logros y conquistas alcanzados en los \u00faltimos tiempos, pero tambi\u00e9n al trabajo que resta por hacer para alcanzar una verdadera igualdad, la presidenta del Sistema Municipal para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (DIF), Ang\u00e9lica Patricia \u00c1lvarez Pizano, as\u00ed como su esposo y alcalde, Jos\u00e9 Antonio Salas Valencia, encabezaron este mi\u00e9rcoles un evento conmemorativo con motivo del D\u00eda Internacional de la Mujer.<\/p>\n

Ante un nutrido grupo de f\u00e9minas, el presidente municipal dio un mensaje de bienvenida agradeciendo la asistencia y destacando que esta fecha, m\u00e1s que una celebraci\u00f3n, es una conmemoraci\u00f3n por sus antecedentes hist\u00f3ricos, por lo que se congratul\u00f3 de que la mujer cada vez conquiste m\u00e1s espacios en una sociedad tradicionalmente machista.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, \u00c1lvarez Pizano asegur\u00f3 que ser mujer es amarse y esforzarse por realizarse todos los d\u00edas, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de una conmemoraci\u00f3n dictada por la sociedad en el calendario. No obstante, record\u00f3 los hechos que dieron origen a esta fecha, cuando trabajadoras textiles fueron quemadas por exigir sus derechos. \u201cEstamos avanzando para alcanzar la equidad de g\u00e9nero, pero falta mucho camino\u201d, acot\u00f3.<\/p>\n

En este sentido, ante los casos de violencia contra la mujer que siguen siendo un lastre social, invit\u00f3 a las presentes a que \u201cnos vayamos a la primera, pero no por cobardes, sino por dignidad, a que no nos acostumbremos al maltrato, porque de una costumbre, pasa a ser una obligaci\u00f3n el tolerar el maltrato\u201d, dijo al asegurar que como mujeres todas son valiosas, \u00fanicas e irrepetibles, por lo que las exhort\u00f3 a verse todos los d\u00edas en el espejo y a amarse tal y como son.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
