\u00a0 LOS REYES, MICH .-<\/strong> El\u00a0 ayuntamiento reyense encabezado por el alcalde Jos\u00e9 Antonio Salas Valencia, aprob\u00f3 esta ma\u00f1ana la adhesi\u00f3n de la Unidad Municipal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil y Bomberos al Fondo para el Fortalecimiento para la Paz (Fortapaz),\u00a0 con lo que se espera una inversi\u00f3n sin precedentes para equipar y robustecer la corporaci\u00f3n de auxilio.<\/p>\n

Luego de los extraordinarios resultados que este fondo arroj\u00f3 para la Direcci\u00f3n de Seguridad P\u00fablica Municipal al dotarle de patrullas, moto patrullas, uniformes y equipamiento en general, se abri\u00f3 la posibilidad de incorporar a Protecci\u00f3n Civil mediante el mismo esquema: 70 por ciento de los recursos estatales y el restante 30 por ciento municipales.<\/p>\n

En sesi\u00f3n extraordinaria, el secretario municipal, Ricardo Enrique Torres Barrag\u00e1n, explic\u00f3 que las reglas de operaci\u00f3n del Fortapaz establecen que para que los cuerpos de bomberos puedan incorporarse, el municipio debe tener una poblaci\u00f3n igual o mayor a 75 mil habitantes; contar con Consejo Municipal y reglamento interno; contar con diagn\u00f3stico validado por la Coordinaci\u00f3n Estatal de PC y presentar acta de cabildo donde se autoriza apoyar con el 30 por ciento del proyecto de inversi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

El presidente municipal, por su parte, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que si bien a\u00fan se desconoce el monto a invertir, se prev\u00e9 sea una cantidad nunca antes vista para a Protecci\u00f3n Civil, \u00e1rea que, de acuerdo a lo dialogado con representantes del gobierno estatal, se pretende fortalecer por zonas en todo el estado, de tal forma que se cuente con al menos una corporaci\u00f3n bien equipada por cada regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

En el caso de Los Reyes, tambi\u00e9n se ver\u00e1 con el comandante Luis Fernando G\u00e1lvez Ch\u00e1vez, cu\u00e1les son los aspectos en los que es m\u00e1s necesario invertir, dijo al reiterar su reconocimiento al gobierno estatal por este programa, pues si bien aportar el 30 por ciento es un esfuerzo para la mayor\u00eda de los municipios, el hecho de poder triplicarlo hace que valga la pena y m\u00e1s en \u00e1reas tan sensibles como la polic\u00eda y PC.<\/p>\n

Finalmente, tras una explicaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica por parte del contralor municipal Ricardo Ram\u00edrez Gonz\u00e1lez, el punto central de la sesi\u00f3n se someti\u00f3 a la consideraci\u00f3n de presidente, s\u00edndico y regidores, quienes lo aprobaron por unanimidad.<\/p>\n
